Meet USAID

The UN estimates we need to produce 70% more food by 2050 to meet the demands of the growing population.  Through the Feed the Future initiative, USAID is supporting innovative farming practices, encouraging sustainable agriculture and providing modern agricultural technology to farmers around the world. USAID is also focusing on training women farmers, whose contribution to agriculture is critical to achieving global food security.
